1. Membership Renewal Structures

CYOJ Hit Lab offers more than one membership structure. The renewal amount and the point at which cancellation affects future charges depend on the membership plan accepted at checkout.

If a different membership or promotional offer presents a different written renewal structure at checkout, the specific terms accepted for that purchase control.

2. How to Cancel Automatic Renewal

A member, parent, guardian, or authorized payer may request cancellation of future Hit Lab membership renewal by sending an email to:

The request should include the athlete or member's full name and enough information for CYOJ Hit Lab to identify the correct membership. CYOJ Hit Lab will provide confirmation after the request has been processed.

3. Initial Commitments and Effective Date

A cancellation request stops future automatic renewal according to the membership's accepted renewal structure. It does not automatically cancel a fixed initial-term commitment that has already been accepted.

For the Academy Sibling Membership, the first twelve months are the initial commitment while Academy sibling eligibility remains in effect. A voluntary cancellation request during that period does not by itself erase remaining charges due during the accepted initial term. If the qualifying Academy athlete is no longer eligible, however, the sibling membership may continue through the period already paid for and future discounted sibling renewals will stop. The family may separately choose another Hit Lab membership if offered.

Once a membership is in a month-to-month renewal period, a cancellation request processed before the next recurring charge is submitted will stop future renewal charges. If a recurring charge has already been processed before the cancellation request is received and processed, the cancellation applies to future renewal periods.

4. Academy Team Fees and Installments Are Separate

Canceling future Hit Lab membership renewal does not automatically cancel, forgive, or modify Academy team fees or Academy installment payments already agreed to as part of an Academy package.

If a family has selected an Academy team payment plan, the scheduled Academy installments displayed and accepted during checkout remain separate from future Hit Lab membership renewal charges.

5. Refunds and Charges Already Processed

Cancellation prevents future automatic renewal charges after the effective cancellation date. Membership payments already processed are generally not prorated for a partial membership period, except where otherwise required by law or expressly approved by CYOJ Hit Lab.

Any request involving an incorrect, duplicate, unauthorized, or otherwise disputed charge will be reviewed individually by CYOJ Hit Lab and reconciled against the applicable Hit Lab 360, Stripe, and operational payment records before another payment is requested.

6. Payment Method Authorization

During checkout, the authorized payer may authorize the payment method provided through Stripe to be saved and used for the recurring charges disclosed for that membership. Academy families may separately authorize the same payment method for Academy team installments when applicable.

Canceling membership renewal ends authorization for future membership renewal charges after the effective cancellation date, but it does not eliminate a separate Academy installment obligation or a fixed initial-term membership obligation that remains due under an accepted agreement.

7. Changes to Future Renewal Terms

If CYOJ Hit Lab makes a material change to accepted automatic-renewal terms, affected consumers will be provided notice of the change together with information about how to cancel before the changed terms are implemented when required by applicable law.

A change to future renewal pricing does not retroactively change charges already earned or a fixed price expressly guaranteed for an existing term.
