Membership Agreement

1. Agreement and Plan-Specific Terms

This Membership Agreement governs CYOJ Hit Lab membership programs and any Hit Lab membership included with a CYOJ Hit Lab Academy package. CYOJ Hit Lab is operated by Create Your Own Journey Foundation.

The specific membership selected during enrollment or checkout controls the price, initial commitment, billing frequency, renewal structure, included benefits, and other commercial terms that apply to that membership. Those plan-specific terms become part of this Agreement when accepted at checkout.

If a plan-specific checkout disclosure conflicts with a general description in this Agreement, the more specific terms presented and accepted for that membership control the commercial terms of that purchase.

2. Academy Athlete Included Membership

When a Hit Lab membership is included with an Academy package, the athlete receives the membership term described on the applicable Academy enrollment and payment pages. For current Academy packages using the rolling membership structure, the included membership lasts for twelve months beginning on the Academy signup date.

Academy team fees, initial payments, installment schedules, discounts, credits, and total team obligations are established by the applicable Academy enrollment and payment agreement and remain separate from later membership renewal charges.

3. Academy Sibling Membership

The Academy Sibling Membership is available only to an eligible sibling linked to a current CYOJ Hit Lab Academy family. The sibling athlete receives a separate athlete and membership record and must independently satisfy applicable waiver and membership requirements.

The first twelve months are the initial membership commitment while the family remains eligible for Academy Sibling pricing. Eligibility requires a qualifying athlete in the family to remain a current CYOJ Hit Lab Academy athlete.

If the qualifying Academy athlete is no longer eligible, the Academy Sibling Membership may continue through the period already paid for, but future discounted Academy Sibling renewals will stop. Loss of Academy eligibility is an exception to the otherwise fixed initial-term commitment for future unpaid periods. CYOJ Hit Lab will not automatically convert the sibling to a higher-priced membership without a separate offer and agreement.

4. Automatic Renewal

A membership that is disclosed as automatically renewing will continue according to the renewal structure accepted at checkout until canceled. The recurring amount and renewal timing depend on the membership product purchased.

For the current Academy-included membership, the post-included-term renewal is $90 per month. For the current Academy Sibling Membership, the post-initial-term renewal is $60 per month. Both renew month-to-month after their applicable initial or included twelve-month period unless a different written plan-specific term is expressly presented and accepted.

5. Payment Authorization and Processing

Payments are processed through Stripe. By completing checkout, the authorized payer permits the payment method provided through Stripe to be used for the charges expressly disclosed and accepted for the selected membership or Academy payment arrangement.

A saved payment method may be retained securely by the payment processor for authorized recurring membership charges and, when applicable, separately authorized Academy installments. CYOJ Hit Lab does not require families to provide card numbers directly to Hit Lab staff through the enrollment website.

A payment is considered verified after confirmation is received from the payment processor and recorded by Hit Lab 360. Membership payment, waiver completion, Academy enrollment, and facility-access eligibility remain separate operational states.

6. Academy Payment Plans

Families selecting an Academy team payment plan authorize CYOJ Hit Lab to charge the payment method provided during checkout for the scheduled Academy installments displayed before payment. The amount collected at checkout and each future scheduled installment are determined by the Academy package and billing plan accepted for that athlete.

Academy team installments are separate from membership renewal charges. Canceling a future membership renewal does not by itself cancel or modify an Academy team-fee obligation already accepted by the family.

7. Waiver Requirement

Payment alone does not complete membership activation. Each applicable athlete must have the required CYOJ Hit Lab participant waiver completed and successfully matched to that athlete before the membership may be activated.

A waiver completed for one athlete does not automatically satisfy the waiver requirement for a sibling or another participant.

8. Digital Membership Credential

Activated members may receive a permanent Hit Lab 360 digital membership card and member number. The digital card reflects the current membership record maintained by CYOJ Hit Lab and is intended to provide live membership verification.

Membership status may change when the underlying membership record changes. A membership credential is personal to the athlete and may not be transferred, shared, or used to authorize participation by another person.

9. Facility Use and Membership Benefits

Members and participating athletes must follow all CYOJ Hit Lab facility rules, safety requirements, staff instructions, equipment requirements, reservation procedures, access restrictions, and supervision requirements applicable to their membership and age.

Membership benefits, training technology access, discounts, cage-time allowances, and access privileges are governed by the membership selected and are subject to reasonable facility availability, reservations, safety requirements, maintenance, and operational restrictions consistent with the applicable agreement.

The current Facility Rules are incorporated into this Agreement.

10. Cancellation, Failed Payments, and Account Standing

Cancellation applies according to the selected membership's initial commitment and renewal structure. A cancellation request prevents future automatic renewal charges after the effective cancellation date but does not automatically erase a fixed initial-term obligation, a charge already processed, or a separate Academy team-fee obligation.

Failed, declined, overdue, disputed, or otherwise unresolved charges may place the membership into payment-attention status and may affect membership benefits or facility-access eligibility until the account is resolved, subject to the applicable agreement and law.

11. Changes to Future Terms

CYOJ Hit Lab may update membership products, benefits, operational rules, or future renewal pricing prospectively. A change to future terms does not retroactively alter a fixed price or obligation already accepted for an existing term. When notice is required for a material automatic-renewal change, CYOJ Hit Lab will provide the applicable notice and cancellation information before the changed term takes effect.
